As the easiest, cheapest, and quickest way to start in the sport, bouldering is a form of low level climbing without the use of ropes. Routes, or ‘problems’, are set on low level walls surrounded by thick crash mats. Climbers use a number of holds which are attached to the wall, in a variety of routes, to enable them to get to the top using problem solving skills and technique.

Are you new to bouldering? Starting your journey with us couldn’t be easier. Simply book your induction session with us then you’re good to go!

It’s fun!

If you have never climbed before, you will need to book an Adult Induction session with us.

Under 18’s can get started through our dedicated sessions or they can be supervised by a competent registered climber. A registration form will need to be completed for both the novice climber and the supervising climber.

If you have climbed at another facility and feel confident to get started without an instructor, you can head over to our Experienced Climbers page.

Book your ‘Introduction to Bouldering’

During your session, our friendly instructors will give you a safety tour of the centre, explain the basics of bouldering, and ensure you are confident to get started on the walls. Following your session, you can carry on climbing for as long as you like. 18+yrs. (16-18 year olds can join if attending and climbing with parents)

Cost: £10
