Climbing is a fantastic sport that enables people of all shapes and sizes, ages and abilities, to get involved and have fun.

Depending on their age, we have a variety of ways for kids and young people to climb with us.

Kids Holiday Sessions

During school holidays our usual kids clubs take a break and run our awesome kids holiday sessions. For information on our latest holiday club click here.

Supervising U18’s: Climbers under the age of 18 can climb at our centre if they are directly supervised by a competent bouldering adult. You will need to complete a registration form for you and the person you are supervising. When you arrive, you will need to complete our Supervisor Assessment form which will ask you about bouldering safety, injury prevention, and warming up. Once you’ve been signed off by one of our coaches, you’re good to go.

Youth Climbers (14-17yrs): Youth climbers can climb unsupervised if they have completed a coach led induction or if they have significant bouldering experience. Youth climbers will need to complete an Unsupervised Youth Assessment form when you arrive at the centre. Parents of 14-15yr olds are requested to attend the first session to chat with our coach. 16-17yr olds don’t need to do this however, we reserve the right to contact parents to verify consent.

You can download our forms here.

Don’t have the experience to supervise your child?

Why not start your climbing journey and get the skills you need to be a supervisor. Firstly, you will need to attend an induction at the centre which will enable you to climb without a coach. Once you’ve got a minimum of 3 sessions (plus your induction) under your belt, you can chat with our coaching team about taking a supervisor assessment.

Worry not, in the meantime we also have a range of kids and youth sessions led by our qualified coaches so you can kick back in our coffee house and enjoy a treat for yourself. Check out our sessions below.

Ditch the parents and hang out with your friends whilst getting top tips and advice on how to improve your climbing from our qualified coaches.  This session is for climbers aged 14-18 years and runs on a Wednesday evening from 7-8pm.
